Teen Action Committee (TAC) for High School Students
TAC is a group of high school students that works as a team to create positive opportunities for Elk Grove teens. TAC members organize community service projects, create events for teens, and participate with the Junior Achievement Program. Dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success and plan for the future!
TAC members meet every other week to discuss current youth trends and plan positive events that better their community. Past events and activities include an open mic night, a teen film festival, and resume workshops.
TAC Eligibility Requirements
Must be an Elk Grove resident in the 9th-12th grades for the current academic year
Must commit to a 1-year term (September to June)
Must submit a completed TAC application form and supplemental questionnaire
TAC Participation Requirements
Able to adhere to the attendance policy
Able to work cooperatively and in a team environment
Adhere to all rules set forth in the TAC bylaws
