Burn Permits

Burn Permits are issued under specific restricted conditions, and in certain rural areas of Elk Grove and Galt for property maintenance.

The annual permit allows the burning of grass, tree trimmings, brush, and weeds ONLY.

You can only burn on the property the Burn Permit is issued to. For further details, please reference the Burn Permit Guidelines (PDF)
