KID CENTRAL
Kid
Central is a recreation enrichment program for children ages 5-12
that includes Kid Central Station (a before
and after school program) and Kid Central
Headquarters (a year-round day camp). Children must be currently
enrolled in Kindergarten – 6th grade.
Registration Information
Initial registration for Kid Central Station or Kid Central Headquarters programs must be completed in person at one of the CSD's three registration locations. The registration packet takes approximately 30 minutes to read through and complete. Full payment is required for each session prior to your child’s attendance, as well as a current Emergency Form and Registration Contract.

Kid Central Station Before and After School
Kid Central Station is a before and/or after school recreation
enrichment program located on or near elementary school
campuses. The program is structured enough to keep consistency
for the participants, but not so structured the children feel
like they are in school. A daily activity schedule is posted at
all sites. Kid Central Station activities include group time,
indoor and outdoor games, art, free time, and homework time.

Monday-Friday After School* - 6:00 pm
* Before school (7 am) available for 4 schools

Follows year round school calendar. Located on campus.
- Joseph Sims Elementary
Follows year round school calendar. Located at
Laguna Town Hall in the KCHQ room. Children walk to/from
school.
- Stone Lake Elementary
Follows year round school calendar. Located at Johnson Park Recreation Center, 3570 Marsh Point Drive.
AFTER SCHOOL ONLY PROGRAMS:
- Arthur Butler Elementary
Follows year round school calendar. Located on campus.
- John Ehrhardt Elementary
Follows year round school calendar. Located on campus.
- Elk Grove Elementary
Follows year round school calendar. Located on campus.
- Ellen Feickert Elementary
Follows year round school calendar. Located on campus.
- Franklin Elementary
Follows traditional school calendar. Located on campus.
Kid Central Headquarters Day Camp
Kid Central Headquarters is a year-round day camp program
for children that are off-track or on traditional breaks from
school. This program tries to keep in mind that the children are
on vacation from school while attending and plans a variety of
activities that the children may choose to participate in. Each
day the staff provide different activities such as arts and crafts,
games, or cooking projects as choices for the children. In addition
to these activities the children have indoor and outdoor free
time, computer time, and watch a movie once a week. Weekly field
trips are offered from June – August and require a separate
fee and registration.
Hours:
Open Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00p.m.
