Helpful Hints for Cosumnes CSD Swim Lessons:

1. Please make sure you have selected the appropriate level for your child. Once registered you can only transfer classes 72 hours prior to the start day.
2. It is recommended that children repeat the last level they completed the previous summer.
3. Most children remain in the same level for two or more sessions.
4. If unsure of which level your child is in, choose the level you know they can do the skills in (refer to the Progress Report on top of page)
5. Please have a second and third choice ready when registering, as classes fill up quickly.
6. Your child will not be moved to a different level or class if registered incorrectly. You may be asked to leave the class without a refund for selecting the wrong class.
7. Remember that both the Jerry Fox Swim Center and Wackford Community and Aquatic Complex offer swim lessons, so if a class is full at one pool, check the other facility.
8. Please make sure your child has a swim suit, towel and plenty of sun block! For children in diapers, swim diapers must be worn in the pool (available for purchase at the front desk of the aquatic complex). Goggles and swim caps can be worn during classes (no nose plugs).
9. Be on time or early to class!

Lesson Levels:

Turtle (infant/pre-school with parent)

Class sessions are the first 4 days of each session. (There must be one parent/adult per one child.)

Starfish (level 1) Water Exploration

Semi-Private Lessons (Age 5+)
