Announcement: Board meeting schedule change
Beginning with its January 2, 2008 board meeting, the CSD Board of Directors will begin holding its regular board meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of every month, instead of on Tuesdays.

Pool rules
Ages 11-15

This is a community-based water safety program for youth ages 11-12 and 13-15. It uniquely combines rescue skills, emergency response, aquatic safety, leadership, teamwork, and a foundation for skill development. Training consists of classroom work, lectures, video, presentations, and teambuilding activties. Upon completion of the course, each student will receive a certificate as a CSD Jr. Lifeguard.

Jr. Lifeguard

Prerequisites: Swim 100-yards freestyle, retrieve a 10 lb. brick from 7 ft. of water, and tread water for 1-minute.
