The Cosumnes CSD Skate Park at the Wackford Community and Aquatic Complex provides a great place for both beginning and advanced skaters to have fun and improve their skills. The park includes:
- A street area that includes a down rail, euro, five stair set, hubba ledges of various sizes, and grind boxes and rails of various sizes.
- Four foot deep key hole bowl which includes a six foot deep end and a hip.
- A Clover Bowl with a roll in that leads into five foot, seven foot, eigh foot, and nine foot depths.
- Full lighting that allows for evening use.
The park also offers safety features. It is supervised at all times and is inspected daily for any type of hazards. Call (916) 405-5652 for more information.
Before You Go...You Should Know
- All skaters must wear protective gear that includes a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads. No equipment... no entry.
- All users must sign a waiver prior to enjoying the skate park (Children under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian on-site to sign a waiver).
- All users of the skate park must present and ID card at the admission gate upon entry into the park. ID cards can be obtained at the Wackford Complex front office.

Saturday: 12:00-8:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00-6:00 PM
*Daily Safety Inspection from 5:00-5:15 PM
*Park may be closed due to inclement weather
Skateboarding Lessons
The Cosumnes CSD Skate Park has a staff that has many years of experience and are able to offer both beginning and advanced lessons. Beginning lessons will include safety, pushing, turning and ollies. Advanced lessons will include safety, flip tricks, grinds and bowls.
Single Private Skate lessons
Improve skateboarding skills with private one-on-one instruction. These private lessons are offered every Saturday morning at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Certain lessons may be canceled due to holidays or inclement weather. Sign up at the Wackford front desk today!
Group Lessons
Grab your friends for a one-hour group lesson. Lessons must reach a two person minimum or will be cancelled. These group lessons are offered every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Certain lessons may be cancelled due to holidays or inclement weather.

This is a 10,000 square foot in ground skate park with a variety of skating amenities and bowls to challenge both beginning riders learning to skate as well as the seasoned veterans working on new and exciting tricks.
