Free admission into the park every day, except during some special events. For picnic reservations and general information call (916)405-5300 Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Elk Grove Regional Park is our beautiful 127 acre park and we are committed to keeping it green, beautiful, and fun for our community. The park hours are 7:00 AM to dusk every day with free admission, except during some of our popular special events.

The Oak trees, wildlife, lake, and green-space at Elk Grove Regional Park provide a beautiful setting for outdoor family gatherings, picnics, company events and special events. Let your dog romp in the off-leash dog park or come out and relax while grilling those perfect burgers and steaks. Don't forget to bring your fishing pole because the lake is stocked with trout in the winter and catfish in the summer.

Picnic Sites at Elk Grove Regional Park

Currently, 17 picnic sites are available for reservations and 2 sites are always first come first serve. We also have about two-dozen small tables and nine grills scattered around the picnic areas that are always free. Most of our rental and first come first serve sites are shady and have grills. To guarantee your party, reserve one of our sites and we will hold it for your party. If you decide to visit the park at the last minute you can still enjoy one of our first come first serve sites, but you may want to arrive early because they are popular.

Easy Set Ups & Near Restrooms: Sites 1-A, 1-B, 3-A, 9-A or 10. Fees: $79
These sites can accommodate 60-100 people, are close to restrooms and have convenient parking for easy unloading. They are great for children's birthday parties, family reunions, or groups that want a beautiful park setting. Sites 1A, 1B, and 9A are located near the recently renovated playground. Site 10 is situated next to the Gray Diamond.

Sites 3-B and 6-A. Fees: $79
For those wanting space and privacy, site 3B is set deeply in a semi-private spacious green field, approximately 40 yards from the nearest parking. Site 6A is next to the lake and has plenty of room. It has a little less privacy, but is closer to parking. Both sites are in close proximity to two restrooms.

Privacy and/or Green-Space: Sites 3-C and 7-A. Fees: $210
These two sites are perfect for large family reunions or company parties. Both sites are in a natural setting, have open space and can accommodate up to 300 people.

Shady Spots near Softball Fields: Sites 4-A and 4-B. Fees: $300
Sites 4A and 4B are situated in a beautiful green space and are near softball fields. They are perfect for an informal game or large party.

Secluded areas: Sites 5-B and 5-C. Fees: $39
For those who are looking for a smaller, intimate setting, 5B and 5C are perfect. Site 5B is situated between a softball field and the dog park. Site 5C is next to the lake with room for extra tables and chairs.

Sites 7-B or 14-B: Fees: $79
Looking for a place for a great family picnic? These two sites can accommodate parties up to 50 people have large green spaces. Site 7B is near the lake and 14B is near Pirate Island.

The Morse Park Pavilion: Fees: $300

Park Hours: 7:00 AM to dusk every day.

Currently, the Morse Community Park Pavilion is perfect for birthday parties, family gatherings or corporate events of 100 guests or less. Situated under a canopy are 2 large and 4 small tables. The site includes a large BBQ pit and is near the spray ground and horseshoe pits.

Company Parties with Electricity: Sites 9-B and Rotary Grove. Fees: $420
These two sites are good for corporate parties, fundraisers or big family reunions. Rotary Grove has lattice covering, tables and grills, ample parking, a concrete driveway load-in, and open space. Restrooms are about 75 yards away and portable units are available for an additional fee. Site 9-B provides a dance slab, easy load in, restrooms, green-space and is located next to the Jerry Fox Swim Center.

Site 6-B: A charming site that is great for fishing or relaxing by the lake. It has ample shade and a small table and grill.
Area 1C: This area has three small grills and one table available for use.

Highlights of Park Guidelines 		Duck

Driving Vehicles on the Lawn: Absolutely no driving motorized vehicles on the grass.

Inflatable Jump-Houses: Inflatable jump-house guidelines have been issued. Renters and vendors are both responsible for knowing the guidelines and for any damages caused by jump-houses.

Games with Large Volumes of Water: Dunk-tanks and water-slides are strictly prohibited due to the damage they cause to the turf.

Picnic Sites with Electricity: Site 3C and site 7 each have one standard electrical outlet. Site 9-B has an electrical panel with standard outlets and one-220 volt outlet. Rotary Grove has 5 standard outlets on site. Electricity is only available for reserved rentals. If the success of your event is dependant on electricity then generators are strongly recommended.

Wildlife in the Park: There is an amazing variety of wildlife that enhance the park and we welcome everyone to enjoy them. Please treat them with courtesy while enjoying them from a safe distance.
