Dog Park Locations

Dog Parks provide recreational and social opportunities for dogs as well as people. A well socialized dog is a safer dog in our community.

Cosumnes CSD Department of Parks and Recreation operates three dog parks: Elk Grove Park Dog Park, Laguna Community Dog Park and its newest location in Morse Park. View Dog Park Rules

CSD dog parks are subject to closure for special events and in inclement weather conditions. For the daily status of the dog parks - if they are open or closed - please call the hot line at (916) 405-5355.

Lend a Hand for Local Paws
The W.O.O.F. (We Offer Off-leash Fun) Dog Park Advisory Committee is open to all residents interested in helping monitor dog park conditions, communicating issues and concerns to the CSD, promoting community awareness for canine issues, and producing events that raise funds for additional amenities in the dog parks. For more information on how to be involved with W.O.O.F. please contact Kristyn Staby at (916) 405-5300.

Dog ParkProtect Your Pet: Kennel Cough
Dogs who visit dog parks can be frequently exposed to Kennel Cough. Kennel Cough is highly contagious – even days or weeks after symptoms disappear.  It can be spread through the air by infected dogs sneezing and coughing; through contact with contaminated surfaces and through direct contact. Symptoms usually appear within 3 to 5 days of exposure. The disease can progress to Pneumonia in rare cases. The W.O.O.F. Committee encourages you to discuss the Kennel Cough Vaccine (BORDATELLA) with your veterinarian.
