Park Site B - Sheldon Place

DESCRIPTION	The proposed project consists of the contruction of a local park which includes two playgrounds, half court basketball, adult fitness, picnic area with shade structure, and open grassed area.
PROGRESS	In 2009, property owners in the Elk Grove West Vineyard Park Assessment District voted down a proposed assessment increase by a 66% to 34% margin. The proposed assessment, $89 per each single family equivalency unit, would have generated $544,000 for L&L Zone 3 – Elk Grove West Vineyard and would have funded the maintenance of Park Site B - Sheldon Place. Although construction funding is available to build Park Site B - Sheldon Place, no maintenance funding is available; therefore, construction of this park is delayed indefinitely.
