KEITH GRUENEBERG
President of the Board of Directors (elected 2006)
Keith has a long and distinguished career in public service. His fire service career spans nearly four decades with fire agencies both in and outside of California. He served 15 years with the Elk Grove CSD Fire Department, including three years as chief, before his retirement in 2006. He also has more than 20 years of law enforcement experience, including service with the FBI, the Grass Valley Police Department and the Nevada County Sheriff´s Department, where he continues to serve as a reserve deputy sheriff. Keith served with the U.S. Air Force in special operations in Vietnam. He resides in Elk Grove, where a new fire station expected to open in 2013 will be named in his honor.

ELAINE WRIGHT
Vice President of the Board of Directors (elected 2000)
Elaine is an active member of several other organizations as well, including the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce (past President and current Ambassador), former member of the Soroptimist International of Rio Cosumnes, Senior Center of Elk Grove, Elk Grove Historical Society Board of Directors, and the Elk Grove Community Harvest and Giant Pumpkin Festival Committee. Elaine is a long-time resident of Elk Grove and worked in the community for 35 years. She lives in central Elk Grove with her husband Jim.

GIL ALBIANI
Member, Board of Directors (elected 2004)
Gil is a long-time resident of the Elk Grove community and a respected member of the local real estate community. In 1990, he served as president of the Sacramento Association of Realtors and was selected as its 1999 Realtor of the Year. Gil currently serves on the boards of directors of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, Methodist Hospital, Mercy Foundation and American Lung Association, and has served on several regional boards including the California State Fair, California Association of Realtors and the Florin Resource Conservation District.

GERALD DERR
Member, Board of Directors (elected 2000)
Gerald served as both the CSD's first General Manager and Fire Chief. Gerald's service to the community spans more than five decades, marked by his start as a volunteer fireman in 1949. Gerald retired from the District in 1991 and Fire Station 75 in Laguna West was dedicated in his honor in 1999. He and his wife Elizabeth are recent transplants to the Laguna area after living for several years in the town of Franklin. Email: derr@yourcsd.com

DOUG McELROY
Member, Board of Directors (elected 1992)
Doug currently serves as Vice-President of the Sacramento Fire/EMS Communications Center Board, and has served as Vice-President of the Sacramento Regional Council of Recreation and Park Agencies. He has been an active member of the Home Field Advantage organization and a staunch supporter of youth and adult sports. In 2001, Doug joined other residents to launch Elk Grove's first official Veteran's Day Parade. He and his wife Claudia have lived in Laguna for more than 14 years.
